When she's not on the job in Bentonville, or traipsing around the woods in search of interesting plants, Roxann Phillips writes fantasy/paranormal romance under the pen name Madison Woods. Her land in rural Madison county, Arkansas provides her with close communion to Nature and much fodder for blog and story ideas.

She writes non-fiction articles about rural life, Nature, ginseng and native medicinal plants, published under her actual name.

Most of her eureka moments happen on her way to work, during the nearly two hour commute.
